Our Process: From Soil to Soul

1. Sourcing at Dawn

Every fragrance begins in the fields. We source our premium flowers and roots directly from local farmers who understand the rhythm of the land. 

To capture the peak aromatic profile, our flowers are handpicked at dawn and rushed to our distillation unit before the morning sun can diminish their delicate oils.

2. The Sacred Craft: Deg & Bhapka Distillation

We honor the ancient hydro-distillation method using the traditional Deg and Bhapka system. A slow, meditative process that modern machinery simply cannot replicate.  

1. The Deg (Still): The copper vessel is filled with fresh botanicals and water, then sealed hermetically with traditional clay, over a wood-fired furnace (Bhatti).

2. The Chonga (Bamboo Pipe): A specialized bamboo pipe channels the aromatic steam from the Deg to the receiver.

3. The Bhapka (Receiver): The receiver is kept semi-submerged in cold water, allowing the steam to condense back into precious liquid form.

Unlike modern industrial extraction, this is a process governed by time, temperature, experience, and intuition. The artisan must understand the character of each raw material, judging when the flowers are at their most fragrant, how much heat the Deg requires, when the distillation should be slowed or stopped, and how the perfume develops over repeated distillations. The result is a fragrance that carries not only the character of its ingredients, but the imprint of the craft itself.

3. Collecting & Refining

Patience is our primary ingredient. The distillate is carefully collected and re-distilled until the desired concentration and fragrance profile are achieved. The resulting floral waters are then meticulously filtered to ensure absolute clarity and purity.
